Rayo Vallecano will be interested in signing Lugo’s Pablo Caballero, who is out of contract with the club in the summer. According to the publication, Lugoslavia, Rayo are the club best placed to land the Argentine.
His contract not renewed
The 30-year-old would arrive on a free in Vallecas as he is out of contract with Lugo in the summer and will not have his contract renewed. In an interview with an Argentinian blog, the striker says, “I don’t know where I am going to go when my contract with the club finished. It doesn’t just depend on me continuing or not. I will analyse the possibilities when they come.”
This season, Caballero has played in 32 games with Lugo scoring just twice. He has been in the starting eleven just six times under Luis Cesar Sampedro, who was appointed last summer.
Caballero started his career at Racing and moved to Tigres, Almirante Brown, Ferro Carril and passed through China and Paraguay and looks a good bet to land in Vallecas after doing plenty of travelling during his career.
